The Niviuk Octagon 2 is an octagonal emergency reserve designed for fast opening, high pendular stability and a controlled descent. Its geometry limits oscillation to approximately 0 to 5 degrees, while the published descent rate is 4.8 m/s at maximum certified load. Six sizes cover total flying weights from 40 kg through to 215 kg, including a tandem option. Depending on size, packed volume ranges from 3.5 to 9.8 litres and reserve weight from 1.16 to 3.14 kg. Certified to EN 12491:2001 and LTF 91/09. Reserve sizing and container compatibility are safety-critical, so Airventure can confirm the right model for your all-up flying weight and harness before purchase.
