Not everything useful in paragliding needs to be a formal course. Some of the best learning happens around a table, a wing, a weather map or a group of pilots arguing constructively about what the air is doing.
COMMUNITY LEARNING
Flying knowledge moves through people.
Airventure meetups are a home for the useful stuff between formal ratings: pilot nights, theory refreshers, gear sessions, site discussions, weather breakdowns and practical clinics.
The exact format changes. The purpose does not: keep pilots engaged, informed and connected to the flying community.
CLINICS
Focused sessions when a subject deserves one.
Some topics are worth pulling apart properly. Ground handling, meteorology, radio use, site knowledge, equipment and progression can all become dedicated clinics when there is enough interest.
These sessions can sit beside the formal Learn It program without turning every useful conversation into another giant course.
CURRENT EXAMPLE
PG4 study is already part of the pathway.
Our PG4 Study & Exam session is a good example of the model: a focused group session, practical discussion, questions and a clear outcome. More sessions can be added here as the community and training calendar develops.
AIRVENTURE
Useful flying conversations should happen more often.
We'll keep adding pilot nights, clinics and community sessions as the calendar develops.
